“The Government of India through ministry of finance had introduced the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) for providing 100% guarantee coverage on Covid assistance extended to the eligible borrowers, under ECLGS 1.0 , ECLGS 1.0(Extension), ECLGS 2.0, ECLGS 2.0(Extension) ECLGS 3.0,ECLGS 3.0(Extension) and ECLGS 4.0 (hereinafter together referred as the ‘Scheme’).

Business Enterprises/MSME institutions/PMMY borrowers/ Individuals who have availed loans for business purposes with,

Business Enterprises in the 26 sectors identified by Kamath committee on resolution frame work and Healthcare sector with

Working capital term loan/Non-fund based facility/Both -as the case may be

Existing Hospitals/Nursing homes/Clinics/Medical colleges having credit facility with FIs and with DPD less than 90 days as on 31.03.2021

Government of India through Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services has introduced the Loan Guarantee Scheme for Covid Affected Sectors to provide guarantee coverage for loans to eligible projects in the healthcare sector.

For Greenfield projects – 75%
For Brownfield projects – 50%; however, brown field projects in aspirational districts shall qualify for 75% cover .Aspirational Districts means districts across the country identified by Niti Ayog for transformation.
The Scheme would be applicable to all eligible loans sanctioned during the period from May 07, 2021 till March 31,2023, or till guarantees for an amount of Rs. 50,000 crore are issued under the scheme, whichever is earlier
Last date of first disbursement shall be within 3 months of sanction of facility however, loans which were sanctioned prior to issuance of these revised guidelines shall be allowed additional time up to 3 months from the date of issue of the guidelines for first disbursement.
